I set up my other business Singles Socials on Valentines day 2023, because of my own personal experience as a newly single person at the age of 55. It was pretty damn hard. Most of my friends were in couples and I regularly found myself feeling like the odd one out at gatherings and events. Let’s be honest, no one likes to play third wheel all the time! I hadn’t been single since the age of 16 and my how things had changed in the dating game.

There were now apps, and dating sites and no one really seemed to do dating the old fashioned face to face way anymore. I found the dating Apps challenging (that's putting it mildly) and from what I hear from my clients, they have gotten a lot worse!

My key roles still include being the first person you see when you walk through that door at one of my Singles Social events, I still remember what that feels like. But my main focus nowadays is as an accredited matchmaker working with clients to help them find love again.
